Prior to booking, please take a moment to carefully review the listing details and house rules for suitability: -Airbnb vs. Hotel: It's important to note that Airbnb is not a hotel; rather, you are booking accommodation in my private apartment for a fee. -Key Pickup: -Kindly note that for privacy and security considerations, the current address provided on Airbnb is that of a hotel, serving as the key pick-up location. The actual address of the apartment, situated a few blocks away from the hotel, will be communicated to you on the day of your check-in. -House Rules: It is crucial to carefully read and adhere to all house rules mentioned above and in the listing. Following these rules will ensure a seamless stay. -Guest Suitability: If you find it challenging to comply with these rules, if you tend to worry excessively about details, or if you have a tendency to complain, kindly consider booking alternative accommodations. My assistant and I are readily available to address any questions or concerns you may have, but strict adherence to the house rules is mandatory. -Occupancy Limit: Only the number of guests specified in your reservation are permitted inside the apartment. Any additional guests will incur an extra charge of $40 per night. (Max number of guests allowed is 4) -Mail and Packages: Please be aware that mail or packages cannot be received at my apartment. -Lost Key or Garage Clicker: In the event of a lost key, garage clicker, or parking permit (where applicable), a fee of $300 per item will be charged. -Late Check-Out: If you require a late check-out, kindly make your request at least one day in advance. Late check-out is subject to availability and costs $50 when feasible. -Late Check-In: Late check-in can be accommodated for a fee. A late check-in before midnight incurs a $50 fee, while a late check-in after midnight incurs a $100 fee. -Parking in Downtown Santa Monica: Parking in downtown Santa Monica can be challenging. Metered street parking is available in the area, as well as nearby paid parking structures. I offer one secured parking spot at a rate of $30 per night. Additionally, the area is well-connected by short walks or affordable Uber rides. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY (4) MUST BE RESPECTED AT ALL TIMES ANY PARTIES WILL RESULT IN AN IMMEDIATE EVICTION As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (10 pm-8 am) are strictly enforced. Violation of any city noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Any gatherings of more than 4 people are not allowed on the property This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit if applicable, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. $35 charge per towel for any stained/ruined or missing towels $200 charge per stained sheets/duvet cover $35 charge per stained pillow $200 charge if the house is left excessively messy and requires additional cleaning Guests must be transparent and truthful about the questions asked by the host at booking. Any incorrect information provided may result in immediate eviction without a refund. Noncompliance with the rules cited above or complaints from neighbors may result in immediate eviction. Upon check-in, please report any damages to avoid being charged. We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue, we would like to agree on the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you! -Security Measures: My apartment is equipped with a Ring Camera doorbell located in the hallway, overseeing the entrance door. Please note that only guests included in the booking are permitted within the apartment, and there are no cameras in any other part of the apartment. Your understanding and compliance with these guidelines are greatly appreciated. My assistant and I remain available to address any questions or concerns during your stay, and it is imperative that all house rules are strictly followed.
